US National Public Radio: “Scientists Help Make Brazil an Agriculture Dynamo”

On October 29, 2010 the National Public Radio of the US aired a news story by journalist Juan Forero, titled “Scientists Help Make Brazil An Agriculture Dynamo”.  It describes the success of Brazilian agriculture in recent years, which have made the country “the world’s biggest exporter of beef, poultry, orange juice and sugar cane” and a supplier of “a quarter of the world’s soybeans”. Embrapa is credited as a major player in the innovation process that helped turn Brazil into “the agricultural superpower it is today”.
